These amphibians have length about 20 cm which half is made by a tail. On a body it has hillocks. The reason of their quiet relation to life in bondage is that they seldom get out to the land and live mainly in water. Rules of leaving
The Spanish tritons can be held together with fishes and seaweed. The last are uninteresting to them, and they will not be able to catch the first as fishes are too bright for amphibians. To water they are unpretentious. It is possible to use for contents water from under the crane. Temperature of comfort is from 18 to 21 wasps. It is necessary to feed them with a crank, earthworms, small pieces of fish and chicken meat. Tritons will be able to find to themselves food, but for their health it is necessary to feed everyone individually. Meal has to pass time in 3-4 days. During the marriage period of amphibians of different floors it is necessary to divide on different tanks into few weeks. Spawning falls on cold time from September to April therefore also water temperature has to be corresponding – 16-18os. To understand which of tritons who, it is worth remembering that the female is usually larger by the sizes, and her body is thicker. The male is more slender. Besides, on front pads he will have marriage "callosities". From some parents from 100 to 500 berries can appear. Cubs will begin to hatch in 6-8 days. It will be better if you replace them in a separate aquarium with the filter and the spray without soil. In 10 days they will have to have front pads, and still through 7 – back. You should not hold larvae together with fishes as the first can become an appetizing forage for the last. In 50 days of cubs it is possible to consider young tritons, and they reach puberty in 1-1.5.
