Experiments with cats and dogs
To find out duration of cat's memory and to compare it to memory of other animals, scientists made a number of experiments. Having turned several boxes, they hid food under one of them. The box under which there was a food was equipped with the lit bulb. This box was shown to dogs and cats, made sure that animals acquired information, and took away them from the room. Then animals began to be brought into the room, maintaining a certain time interval. It became clear that dogs remembered where there is a food, within five minutes. Valuable information was stored in memory of cats within 16 hours, and this period of time is a little less, than at advanced primacies – orangutans.
Creative thought
It is impossible to refuse to cats and available at them creative thought. For confirmation of creative abilities the scientists picked up group of cats and taught them to move boxes on wheels. One of cats guessed to push a box on wheels, to climb up it and to get a piece of meat. Her friends instantly picked up the idea and too began to use boxes to achieve the objectives.
