Indo-ducks are unpretentious in food. In the nature they eat vegetable food, insects. Quickly weight is gained by musky ducks from a forage from a shredded zernosmesa and boiled potatoes. It is possible to prepare bourgeoises from grain and grated vegetables: cucumbers, squash, beet, carrots. Feed to a bird the crushed corn. Barley and peas presoak in advance. The inflated leguminous should be scrolled on the meat grinder and to add to the main forage, it contains lecithin, useful to ducks. Indo-ducks do not refuse a beet tops of vegetable, cabbage leaves, a nettle.
Existence of a reservoir desirable, but optional condition. Indo-ducks perfectly do without swimming, it is enough to them to put a bucket or a trough with drinking water. During the winter period to ducks put dry grain: wheat, oats, corn. Bourgeoises cook from boiled vegetables, trouble the crushed hay. One adult individual eats 300 g of a forage and drinks 1 liter of water a day. In the summer grain food can be lowered by 50%.

For improvement of appetite of the bourgeois slightly add some salt, in number of 0.7% of the mass of a dry feed. For good digestion of food stones are required for ducks. In the winter when the bird is not on pastures, she has to be provided with a granite crumb. Utyatkam in the first days give chopped hard-boiled egg, bird's compound feed, porridge from grain. At week age mix with a forage: the crushed greens; cottage cheese; the bread soaked in milk; the meat waste which is small chopped; bran. Feed them in the small portions, but it is frequent, 4−5 times a day. Monthly feed 3−4 times a day, transfer an adult bird to two times feeding. A forage have to be fresh, not soured. Keeping of Indo-ducks does not bring trouble. The bird perfectly winters in not warmed shed on a thick laying. It needs a perch from the logs dumped in a disorder. In the summer that the bird did not fly away, it is possible to clip wings.
