To be painted with henna not so conveniently as artificial paints as its drawing represents certain problem. However natural paint practically does not harm head of hear and allows to try to obtain wide range of flowers.

- Henna makes positive impact both on bulbs, and on hair, in some cases it can accelerate growth of head of hear. It is necessary to consider that henna grows dull quicker, than chemical paints, however, at the same time it is not removed from hair completely. Repeated colourings do color to more saturated as henna collects, filling structure of hair. At the beginning, to achieve the correct color by means of this accumulative effect, it is possible to apply henna on length of hair of times a one or one and a half months, further rather regularly to tint roots, and to process the bulk of hair henna of times in four-five months.
- To enhance positive effect of henna, it is possible to add other useful substances to it. Well essential oils, for example, burdock or jojoba, broths of various medicative herbs or even whey work. However, even without them henna influences hair well if not to use it too often.
- In consciousness of most of people henna strongly is associated with bright red color. In practice at its use it is possible to achieve any shades, except light blond. Everything depends on the organic additives which are used for preparation of the painting structure. With their help it is possible to paint hair in fair-haired, chestnut, black, brown and, certainly, red.
- So, for example, for obtaining bluish-black hair color mix of henna and indigo powder is usually used. For receiving fiery red, almost red head of hear natural henna is used. To receive natural "chocolate" hair color it is possible to take mix of black and red henna and to add to it ground coffee. Respectively the range of shades which can be received by means of henna is extremely wide.
- Certainly, henna is not panacea, it has the drying effect therefore it is desirable to apply the moisturizing balms and masks for hair at its regular use. Impact on hair is shown at too frequent colourings so it is not necessary to apply henna on all length of hair every month after you have achieved the necessary shade. If you have by nature very dry hair, and together with them and head skin, is better to refuse this way of coloring.
- After use of henna it is almost impossible to change hair color by means of artificial paints. Henna densely envelops hair from penetrations of the foreign painting pigments so if you want to be recoloured in any other color, it is necessary to wait until the hair painted by henna grow. In some cases reaction of henna and chemical paint can be unpredictable, hair can get unnatural shades up to green or blue.
