How to dye artificial hair

Modern chignons, wigs and other false hair are made of artificial and natural hair. Natural hair, certainly, are more expensive. However artificial slips and chignons can quite be very natural by sight and enough quality. The lack of artificial hair is that they are not recommended to be subjected to chemical and temperature treatment, that is to paint, erase, twist.

Instruction

  1. Artificial hair on structure enormously differ from natural hair therefore from ordinary hair-dye they can strongly deteriorate. The same can be told about coloring tonics, shampoos, balms and so on. If you, for example, wash or will paint fishing line, it will be mixed up, will become withdrawal pains and just to turn into bast. The same fate waits also for artificial hair.
  2. Try to recolour artificial hair by means of ordinary felt-tip pen or marker. After painting it will not descend and will not spoil structure of hair. Pick up the corresponding color and paint over lock behind lock. On it a lot of time will be required therefore such way will be suitable for several locks or small chignon of light color.
  3. For obtaining deep dark or black color it is possible to use ink. For artificial hair batik – paint will be ideal for drawing on fabric. It is enough to wet wig or chignon in batik mix with water (3 l of water and 3 jars of batik) and to leave in mix for 2-3 days. However there were cases that after such coloring the hair quickly get out and get confused. Let's wig dry out not less than 24 hours. Comb hair very accurately as they become quite rigid.
  4. Keep in mind: producers do not recommend to dye artificial hair in house conditions. It is possible to address to hairdressing salon, and to select the locks, chignons and slips which are absolutely matching tone of your hair even better. At careful leaving and the minimum influence the artificial hair will serve longer and will look more natural.
