How to part basma

Basma is the natural dye used by women since ancient times. Now it is applied in combination with henna to coloring of hair. There are several ways of cultivation of paint.

It is required to you

  • - henna;
  • - glass or china;
  • - wooden shovel;
  • - hot water;
  • - olive oil.

Instruction

  1. Do not dye hair only basmy, otherwise your hair will become blue-green. Part it with henna. Depending on ratio of ingredients you can receive various shades.
  2. For obtaining light brown color mix in glass or china henna and basma in equal proportions. For obtaining chestnut color – in the ratio 2:1 (henna: basma), black – 1:2. You receive saturated black color if you part 1 part of henna with 3 parts of basma.
  3. Take 25-200 grams of mix, depending on length of hair. Fill in it with boiled water and mix wooden shovel to consistence of sour cream. Knead all lumps.
  4. Let's paint infuse within 40 minutes, and then you apply it on hair.
  5. It is possible to make basma with henna hot water (temperature about 80 °C), broth or infusion of herbs. For giving to hair of saturated chestnut shade use strong coffee, tea or broth of buckthorn, red shade – heated red wine, purple – beet juice. For receiving gold sparks in dyed hair you dissolve mix with the acidified water. Add to it lemon juice or apple cider vinegar (teaspoon on glass of water), or several crystals of citric acid. For receiving shade of mahogany add cocoa teaspoons to water 3-4.
  6. If you have dry or rare hair, pour in hot milk, kefir or curdled milk of room temperature in paint.
  7. For uniform distribution of the received mix add to it 1-2 teaspoons of olive oil.
  8. Gruel of consistence of sour cream is intended for roots. For hair-dyeing on length prepare new portion with double amount of liquid or dilute with hot water already available. It is simpler to distribute liquid paint on hair, dense will dry up and fall off lumps hair, leaving light spots.
