  1. The way of washing of hairbrush completely depends on of what material it is made. The most widespread hairbrushes are made of metal, plastic, tree or even bone. The greatest efforts deliver wooden hairbrushes. The tree can crack, so, in large amount of water you should not wash them. But in case of pollution it is not necessary to throw out it at once, just carefully wipe teeths with cotton tampon which is moistened with vodka. Fat deposits will be dissolved by alcohol. On cotton wool there will be dirt and dust.
  2. If you have plastic hairbrush, then you were lucky! The easiest to look after it. It is necessary to remove all hair which have stuck to it from hairbrush. To wash up hairbrush, gather in basin of warm water. Then add to it any shampoo, about 30 ml. It should be noted that professional hairdressers add liquid ammonia to shampoo in the same proportions. Under the influence of these components any pollution: fat, parts of skin or hairspray from hairbrush separate, without leaving mark.
  3. If after such procedure not all dirt has departed, then try to rub your hairbrush the most usual brush for toothbrushing. And to be sure that the hairbrush precisely will become clean, it is possible to apply on brush of a little calcinated soda. If the plastic hairbrush was used for the purpose of comb-out of louses, then one washing not to manage here. It should be disinfected. For this purpose put it approximately for half an hour in bleaching powder solution. Then carefully wash out under powerful stream of flowing water.
  4. Metal hairbrushes are washed usually as well as plastic. That needs to be made with them, so it not to forget to dry the only thing after sink. Otherwise the moisture which has remained on metal teeths will lead to emergence of rust. Then the hairbrush should be thrown out.
