The conventional standards of beauty set huge requirements, as to men, and women today. Not so long ago advertizing campaigns of many brands were rather aggressive. Many cosmetic companies do not consider shameful that cream from wrinkles advertizes model which hardly executed 18. Old age – it is a shame.
From everywhere there is imposing of brands, trends. Hollywood actors and their cult of body. Fashion-industriya and 90х60х90. All this has in turn induced many people to go to plastic surgeries which have generated huge number of their victims. There was set of the diseases caused by the aspiration to become perfection. Quantity of death such is as though it is war.
Against the background of all this the set of social and public reactions has followed already. One of them was also the movement Body Positive, (body positivity our way). Having for the first time faced body positivity, it is possible to feel shock. Along with appeals to accept the body such as it is, not to pay attention to negative opinion of people around, to love itself, at this movement there is aggressive esthetic extremism. It causes, in turn, huge wave of haters. And here they were already linked: "I love body positivity!", "I hate body positivity!"
But if to look at all this it is sensible, then both those, and others are right. You should not enter this polemic. It is only reaction of society to the imposed beauty ideals. People just were tired of falseness and substitution of concepts. Glossy magazines, screens of TVs just dazzle with ideal bodies. But even models are not perfect. It, undoubtedly, beautiful people, but not ideals. Everything is reached by means of processing of images.
Society has given loud signal, about refusal of it. And this signal has been heard. The companies which grow wiser have deployed the advertizing torpedoes from ideal to the person. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has distributed "Oscar" to actors and actresses who were not afraid to look as all. + on podium to surprise nobody with models of forms now. With such trend, the mankind at last will return to adoption of naturalness and such extreme protests as at zealous body positivists will just disappear in itself.
