1. The sunbed is contraindicated to many people according to various indications. Most of the nursing women think of question: "But whether the sunbed when breastfeeding is contraindicated? Whether ultra-violet radiation to the kid and whether it is worth waiting for the termination of lactation will do much harm?". There are no contraindications for suntan during breastfeeding of child per se, but it would be more reasonable to refrain from visit of sunbed and excessive influence of ultraviolet. If all of you decide to sunbathe, then it is very important to remember several moments.
2. During breastfeeding in organism of the woman there is active production of hormones of growth, for this reason under the influence of ultra-violet radiation there can be new formations and birthmarks and also pigmental spots can appear.
3. Lotions and creams for suntan may contain the substances having negative effect on breast milk in the structure. Besides, these means have certain smell which can push away the kid from breast.
4. Ultra-violet radiation in general does not influence development of milk. In turn the hormones which are formed at lactation promote growth of tissue of mammary gland, and the sunbed can have negative impact on growth of the sharing cages and provoke development of diseases of mammary gland.
5. If all of you decide to sunbathe in sunbed, then surely cover nipples, avoid hit of ultra-violet radiation on nipples, so you will avoid such problems with health as mastopathy and breast cancer. If the period of feeding of the child breast is less than 3 months, then it is better to refuse sunbed as overheating of breast can provoke development of mastitis.
