Knowledge – an important component of human life. The person learns the world around, feelings, life. Since ancient times people sought to learn the nature, space, any phenomena of life on Earth.
The person is interested in everything – flower petals, the bird flitting in the sky, ocean waves, other planets. The aspiration to knowledge is a natural quality of the person.
The aspiration to learn the world roused mankind to creation everything new and new instruments of labor and household items. The aspiration to knowledge led to creation and development of a civilization. Process of knowledge would not be so interesting without abstraction. By means of abstraction the ancient people sought to see from outside Earth and space and also a role of mankind in this world.
Abstraction in everyday life
Abstraction allows the person to see from outside not only the taking place events and surrounding reality, but also itself. Allows to see the actions and the behavior from other foreshortening, helps to understand the aspirations and the reasons of any given acts. To abstract – means, to see reality as the viewer, to feel out of all events. At such approach the emotional dependence on the events is removed. To the person new sides which he did not notice earlier open. At abstraction the problem appears in other light. Becomes possible to see a situation from all directions. And therefore understanding of comes why it occurred and as to correct this situation. For example, there was a difficult situation which needs urgently to be resolved. The person involved in a problem does not see possible solutions. He thinks that he is in the deadlock. Having abstracted from a problem, the person will understand how it is necessary to arrive in this situation.
Abstraction role
Abstraction helps the person to learn in full itself, the world, and everything that it is interesting to it. And the main thing – abstraction allows to learn a life essence on Earth, the mystery of the universe, to learn own role in this life. Abstraction as conscious process of knowledge and self-knowledge it is inherent in the person who realized himself the personality. On the other hand, small children too sometimes tell about themselves from the third party as though they watch themselves from outside. Perhaps, for children the process of abstraction is unconscious. And to some extent for them it is the self-defense mechanism. Thus, abstraction for the person – key property of knowledge of the world and life. It allows to learn reality most fully. And this property is put in the person by the nature.
