Any summer does not do without rest at reservoirs. Whether you will go to a holiday on a seashore or will spend it at the dacha, you will surely bathe. And of course, it is a high time to teach the child to float in the summer. Main rule: to do everything together, to be near always, to give to the child confidence that until he does not accustom to water, you will support him and to secure. 

Instruction

1. If the child is afraid of water, begin classes gradually, use game receptions. During bathing of the house it is possible to begin "exercise" of breathing exercises in the bathroom: accustom the child to immerse the person in water. That it was more cheerful, buy bright goggles. 

2. If at once you study on "deep water" (in a reservoir or a pond), for a start give to the child time to accustom on the bank of. Prepare an inflatable ball, a circle for swimming — lower oversleeves on toy water which do not sink, and forgive the child to get them. If depth allows the child to stand steadily on a bottom, give it a hand and suggest to examine "the underwater world". Do everything together, previously show correctness of performance of receptions, tell the feelings from what was seen that the child had interest and desire to repeat, over time the fear will be replaced with increase.

3. If the child is not afraid of water and with pleasure bathes, then it is better to begin classes without use of the additional equipment — just support the kid by hands. One hand has to support the head (when swimming on a stomach it is necessary to hold under a chin, on a back — by a nape), other hand insures a body (a stomach and a waist). Hands and legs of the child have to be free. 

4. Training should be begun with such receptions: legs work in the equipment a crawl (as scissors), hands — a breast stroke (as a frog). Of course, with the child it is better to use not professional terms, but substitute words. You can think up them, proceeding from the interests of the child that it was easier for it to understand an exercise essence.

5. Begin with short classes. For school students 10 minutes as water takes away many forces there are quite enough and because of fatigue the kids often refuse to be engaged further.
