The car seat for the child in the car is not only fashionable accessory or a way to control the child in the car. According to crash tests the car seat allows to ensure to the child at most safety as during the movement, at sharp pushes, and in case of accident.
Classification of chairs
The device of an automobile children's chair differs depending on the purpose, that is taking into account that for what children of age they are developed.
Chairs of category "0" (they are called also chairs carryings, autocradles) are designed for children since the birth and assume horizontal (or almost horizontal) position of the child. They are established only on a back seat of the car.
Chairs of category "0+" have usually two provisions: for sitting and for a dream. These chairs are established against the course of the movement of the car on back or front seat and have two appearance of fastenings: a universal seat belt which equipped cars and a five-dot internal belt (through both shoulders, on a belt and between legs of the kid). Chairs of category "1" establish in the direction of travel, they are equipped with also internal seat belts, and the universal belt fixes a chair. Chairs "2", "3" have no special belts: both the chair, and the child are fixed by a car seat belt.
Basic rules of installation of children's car seats
Statistically, six of ten chairs fasten incorrectly, and it means that they not only do not protect the child in case of accident, but also can serve as the cause of a trauma, up to a lethal outcome. Establishing a car seat in the car carefully study the instruction attached to a car seat and always follow it at installation of a chair in the car, without going on compromises because the kid is capricious or sleeps. Pay attention that in chairs of category "0", "0+" the head of the kid has to lie completely on a seatback, not look out because of it. It is necessary because the child's head quite big, and cervical vertebras still fragile, in case of accident and even sharp braking is risk of a trauma of cervical department of a backbone. For the same reason these chairs always need to be established against the traffic course. Consider that internal securities belts in chairs "0", "0+" have to be located slightly below, and in chairs "1" is a little higher than a shoulder of the kid. If the child sits in a chair "2", "3", watch that the automobile belt passed strictly through the middle of a shoulder of the child as at arrangement above it can give to suffocation, and when slipping below the child can just slip out. Do not fix a car seat a back of a front seat at all. Remember that the safest place for installation of a car seat the place behind a driver's seat is considered at once, but it is in that case inconvenient to control the kid to the driver. Therefore establish a seat on the right or on the center on a rear seat.
