1. The attention as manifestation of activity of the person is expressed in informative processes. In this question the psychologists have no consensus. Some researchers claim that separate and independent such process cannot be. The attention in this case can act only as one party of all mental process of the personality. Other scientists are sure that the attention can represent an independent condition of the person, that is some specific internal process which has own features.
2. The following qualities are distinguished from properties of attention of the person. The attention has stability which represents ability of the person long attention to concentrate on the object of study. The attention differs in focus, that is concentration on one object at derivation from all the rest. The attention has such property as a pereklyuchayemost, that is ability of the person depending on a type of activity to switch from one object to another. Distribution of attention is ability to disperse it in space and in time. The volume of attention is such amount of information which the person is capable to keep and concentrate in at one time.
3. Physiological mechanisms of attention of the person are defined by formation of the center of the increased excitement, its dominants. Thanks to this process in a certain part of a cerebral cortex necessary conditions for fuller and exact reflection of the significant moment or an object are created. Everything that has no relation to it, is just blocked. The attention physiology also is depending on an approximate reflex. That is it is ability of a brain to allocate a new and unusual irritant from surrounding reality. This process can be followed also by setup of analyzers. Also the activity of activity of a brain at the moment of the greatest focus of function of attention on any object increases.
4. Development of attention of the person depends on his initial form. It can be the highest and the lowest. It depends on what attention, any or involuntary, is involved at present. The involuntary attention can be shown without visible irritants and strong-willed efforts from the person. Any attention it is possible to be shown only when at the person the specific goal is set.
