Though the institution of the family for a number of reasons goes through some tough times now, the family still performs some of the major functions, first of all reproductive, providing reproduction of the population.
What the help of school to family consists in
Very important function of family educational. Parents or elder brothers and sisters train kids in elements of knowledge (for example, teach them to read and to write). But even the most diligent, the loving and conscientious parents during the training and education of children not to do without school.
Times when to the person was to seize some craft enough and also to be competent and to be able to consider, remained in the past long ago. To get good job, to promote, it is necessary to have extensive and versatile knowledge which cannot just be received in family. Extremely rare exceptions do not change this rule. Even if parents are high quality experts in any area or teachers, they at all desire will be able to give to the child only a part of necessary knowledge, skills. Therefore the school plays a major role in education of the overgrowing generation. Especially when teachers not only deeply know the objects, but also are able to state a training material interestingly, fascinatingly.
The large role is played by school and in education of children. Certainly, the main responsibility for what the child will grow up, lies on parents. Therefore those fathers and mothers who self-confidently say: "We work, we have no time to watch children, let them at school be brought up!", make a big mistake. Nevertheless influence of teachers on behavior and the formed character of the child does not raise doubts. At school with its accurate schedule, discipline, subordination, children are in many respects accustomed to follow the standard rules, to behave in collective, to correlate the interests to common interests, to communicate with surrounding people. Certainly, the child follows the same rules of conduct also in family, but one business – to communicate with a narrow circle of the closest people, and completely different – about tens (if not in hundreds) strangers!
The school accustoms children to reasonable discipline, to need to obey teachers, school administration. These skills will be useful to them in independent life.
As the relations of family and school have to be under construction
Ideally the relations of parents and teachers have to take the form of patient and valid cooperation. Both that, and at other party has one purpose - to grow up and train the worthy person and the citizen. But in practice, unfortunately, so happens not always, sometimes parents accuse teachers of a nepedagogichnost.
