If the child is premature, it is necessary to take the drug on two drops. For treatment of rickets it is necessary to increase a day dose to 4-8 drops.

4. If a source of vitamin D is aquadetry, then it should be accepted since four weeks of life. The day dose makes 1-2 drops, for premature children – 2-3 drops. At treatment of rickets the dose of medicine is increased till 4-10 by drops.

5. It is necessary to pay attention to what vigantol is issued on an oily base while aquadetry – on water. Water solution is soaked up and acquired better oil that matters in case of use of medicine for premature children.

6. In certain cases use of medicines with vitamin D can cause allergic reactions therefore before application of a vigantol and aquadetrim surely it is necessary to consult with the doctor.

7. In practice it is the most convenient to give vitamin D to the child in a spoon with a small amount of milk, water or the divorced juice – for example, apple or grape. Consider that if the child is raised on artificial mixes, vitamin D should not be given – as a rule, it is already present at mix. It is possible to look at exact composition of mix on packing.
