The first year of life

School days

Now the daily routine will depend directly on the lesson schedule. Most likely, the child will want to sleep for the first year after lessons at school in the afternoon. Do not interfere with this desire. 

The basic rule - the school student should not spend the whole day behind textbooks. Pay attention that in a daily routine there was time for walks, games and hobbies of the child. Rest after lessons allows an organism to remove stress connected with hard mental work.

It is necessary to pay attention to duration of night sleep of the child school student. The sleep debt negatively affects nervous system and leads to decrease in working capacity. Pediatricians recommend to children of eight-nine years to sleep 11 hours, ten-eleven years - 10 hours, twelve-fifteen years - 9 hours, the pupil of advanced age - 8.5-9.

The special attention is required also by the pupil's food. The number of meals has to be 5-6 times. The interval between food, according to physiologists, should not exceed 4-4.5 hours. Certainly, the diet has to be balanced.

  • You do not awake him before an exit in school at the last minute.
  • Do not give dry food, sandwiches for breakfast.
