From the birth and to three-months age the child learns the world by means of three sense organs: touch, sight and hearing. Therefore toys should be selected, proceeding from their impact on these analyzers.
Toys for children up to three months have to meet some requirements. They have to be easy and not noisy, the simplest forms. Bright colors are welcomed, but it is necessary to avoid their abundance. It is important to make sure that it makes soft and not too loud sounds. Music has to be the quiet, not oversaturated tonalities. When the kid is put to bed, the carousel is removed from a bed: nothing has to prevent to fall asleep normally. If the child sleeps in a carriage in the fresh air, in it you should not suspend toys.
Toys on development of coordination of movements
Coordination of movements develops at children aged from three months about half a year. Kids try to lift and hold a rattle. At this time it is necessary to get the corresponding toys. The rattle should not be heavy. The kid has to hold it with ease. Besides, the easier a toy, the it is less injury-causing. It is not necessary to choose very noisy rattles: the child can be frightened of sharp sounds. Toys for grab suspend on special racks. In process of development of the child their height changes. The three-months kid already studies toys to the touch and tries to catch them. Figures have to be located at arm's length, to be convenient for keeping and to have various forms. For development of tactile feelings it is necessary to offer the child of a toy from different materials.
