Instruction
1. Write the application in tutorship and guardianship authorities for desire to begin the adoptive father to make the decision on this question with a request. On the basis of the submitted documents in two weeks you receive the decision about an opportunity or impossibility to become the adoptive father. Be ready to arrival of the commission which will draw up the statement of your living conditions.
2. At the positive decision you will be registered as the candidate for adoptive parents. Besides, you will be provided with information on children who can be adopted. In guardianship authority take the direction for visit of children. If you did not pick up the child in the region, then you can address to any other tutorship and guardianship authority in any place of the Russian Federation.
3. Use the help of a federal databank about the children who were left without parents. For this purpose write the application with a request to provide information on children with certain data (age, sex of the child, nationality, etc.), attach to it the conclusion of guardianship authority that you are allowed to become an adoptive father, fill out the questionnaire where besides standard data (a full name, the residence, passport data, etc.) specify wishes to the child who was would like to be adopted.
4. After consideration of your documents will present to you the information about the child corresponding to your wishes. In case of your consent, you get a referral and will be able to visit the child. You are obliged to notify the database operator on results of visit. Employees of the database will regularly inform you on appearance of the children meeting your requirements. You are obliged to visit personally pleasant children, to get acquainted with their story, the medical certificate about the state of health of the child.
5. If you chose the child, appeal to court with the statement for adoption. Besides standard documents it is necessary to enclose to the application copies of the marriage certficate, the consent of other spouse (if someone adopts one) or the birth certificate if the adoptive father is not married. Besides, specify what data you would like to change – a surname, a name, the child's middle name, his nationality, birth date and birth place.
6. At positive consideration of the application about adoption, the court will send all data to bodies the REGISTRY OFFICE to make changes to documents of the child. To you the certificate on adoption and the birth certificate of the child will be granted.
