How to calculate a conception cycle

How to calculate a conception cycle

If the woman prefers the most natural protection and does not want to have sex with various contraceptives or, on the contrary, wishes to become pregnant, she can calculate the most favorable days for conception. For this purpose it is necessary to study the menstrual cycle.

Instruction

1. Each woman has an individual menstrual cycle. But for all three periods are peculiar. The first is a maturing of follicles (14-16 days after the first day of periods). These days, estrogen – female sex hormones which promote maturing of an ovum in an ovary becomes more active.

2. The next stage is an ovulation (14-16 day from 1 day of periods). The follicle is broken off, and the ovum leaves an ovary. Then it gets into an abdominal cavity, and from there already into a uterine tube.

3. The third period is called progesteronovy (from 15-17 for 28 day of a cycle). After the follicle burst, on its place there is a yellow body producing estrogen and progesterone (he prepares mucous a uterus for introduction of a germ and does not allow to develop to other follicles which can interfere with successful development of pregnancy). If conception did not happen, the yellow body stops functioning, the level of sex hormones falls and the periods begin.

4. For safe sex carry out special calculation. Analyze duration of own menstrual cycle within at least half a year. During this period do not use hormonal contraceptives.

5. Allocate the longest and shortest menstrual cycles in the analyzed period. From the shortest take away 18 and receive day of the beginning of the dangerous period (for example, 24-18=6). Subtract 11 from the longest period. (for example, 30-11=19). As a result you learn that dangerous days in your case are the period of a menstrual cycle from 6 to 19 day.

6. Consider that similar calculation will suit only those women at whom the menstrual cycle is stable and not often changes on duration. If the periods come every month differently, surely consult with the gynecologist. You should make tests. Without them exact calculation will be unrepresentative and doubtful.
