Muslim names are symbolical. They define the future of the child and bear certain information on the person. The basic principle in the choice of a Muslim name is permissibility Sharia.

1. Choosing a Muslim name for the child, surely address the special dictionary reference. In it not only all names are listed, but also explanations that designates and as any given name is translated are given.
2. In Islam five categories of names which are considered as good are distinguished. The best of them for boys – Abdullakh and Abdurrahman. They are favourite names of Allah.
3. The names designating worship and humility of Allah are also considered as good. This is such as Abdulyaziz, Abudulmalik, Abdurrakhim, Abdussalam.
4. It is possible to choose a name of the prophet or envoy. Of which Muhammad and Ahmad and also Moussa, Iza and Ibrahim are considered as the best.
5. Names of associates of the Prophet and just slaves Allah belong to the following category.
6. Calling by the child by the Muslim name, you remember that to it with it to live. Therefore choose it which will not cause inconvenience and negative reaction in people around. And also will not create any problems in the future.
7. The expressing humility or service not to Allah belong to undesirable names. For example, Abd-are-Rasoul designates the slave Poslannika, and Abd-al-Amir is translated as the slave to the governor. You should not call children by the names of angels and suras of the Quran, such as Yassin and Ta-Ha and also designating a sin (Sorik is a thief), the name of some animals (Khimar – a donkey).
8. Do not add to a name of a word of "Dynes" and "Islam". For example Nur Ud-Dean that designates religion light, or Well rul-Islam which is translated as Islam light. It is not necessary to add any words to a name of Allah (Khasab-Llakh). An exception is only the word "Abd" which is considered admissible. For example, Abdullakh.
9. Look addressed to under different corners. Listen to it on harmony and compatibility with Abu's prefix. Think as far as it will suit children of your son. And as will sound – "The son of it, the son such" as it is accepted in Islam.
