School students get used to checks: to dictations, control and practical works, tests, polls and assessment of homeworks. Besides, many children invent various original cribs for the teachers who are not noticing children's cunning. Therefore teachers need to check in addition periodically quality of knowledge at the child.
Instruction
1. The teacher needs to watch pupils, to make entries in the diary about the interests of the child or the academic statements from his party and to note gaps in any given sphere.
2. The tests which are individually made by the teacher of the subject with possible answers and the thoughts demanding free statement will allow to reveal the level of knowledge of each child. At the same time it is not necessary to make 20 questions for each school student, there is enough of 3rd, the answer to which borrows on time of 7-15 minutes.
3. Peculiar 10-minute polls on the passable material will tune school students into repetition of a subject. Besides, the teacher can award the caused a stir children with the five, and guilty to tighten according to the program.
4. It is possible to check knowledge in playful way: brainstorming, a performance, court session, representation of the passable material in a visual creative form (composition, the story, the book, a crossword puzzle, applique, a fake). At the same time collective discussion allows to acquire a training material better.
5. Since the 8th class, it is necessary to teach children to estimate adequately answers of each other, to create creative "intricate" questions on material. Such tasks develop at children cogitative operations (generalization, the analysis, comparison, synthesis …) and skills of work with information.
6. Various after-hour competitions and games demanding certain educational knowledge help to fix the passable material in playful way. For example, literary and historical competitions, search of a treasure with subject questions, a birthday of the English queen, etc.
