1. When choosing a bed for the child, first of all, pay attention to material of which it is made. Ideally the crib has to be made of high-quality natural wood, without use of paints and varnishes. And if suddenly you liked the painted bed, make sure that lead is not a part of paint. Pay attention and to that, the product surface is how carefully ground.
2. Give preference to that crib which details are strongly connected among themselves, and all metal elements, such as screws and small screws, "are drowned" in wood and are fixed by caps.
3. Pay attention to a bed which bottom can be regulated on height. For the newborn child establish a bottom on the highest level that it was more convenient to mom to bend to it. When the kid learns to get up independently, lower a bottom below that he did not drop out of a bed.
4. Make sure that rods at the crib which was pleasant to you have no acute angles. Besides, they have to be quite strong, and the distance between rods should not exceed 6 cm, otherwise between them the head of the curious little fidget can get stuck once.
5. Before choosing any given bed for the child, think in what way you plan to put the baby to bed. If you do not wish to leave the kid even at night, give preference to a product with a removable sidewall which you closely will move up to the berth. Thanks to a bed rocking chair or a bed with a pendular design, you will not need to rock to sleep the baby on hands. The additional convenience to mom and dad is created by the removable wheels which are present at legs of some models of cribs.
