How to choose the best solution

How to choose the best solution

It is considered that it is always possible to find a way out of any difficult situation. The problem is that such exits most often happen a little and to choose the best of them happens sometimes difficult: each decision has both positive, and negative consequences.

Instruction

1. To choose the best way from possible, think over various ways of the solution of the problem facing you. If they appear too much, you without effort will reject the most absurd, exigeant and frankly not suitable you for a number of reasons. As a rule, acceptable decisions remains two or three, and it is necessary to choose from them.

2. Take the sheet of paper and write positive and negative consequences which you will have in case of its embodiment for each decision.

3. Estimate each of consequences on importance degree personally for you. For example, you are going to change a job. In this case you will have higher salary, but work will be located further from the house. So, you can estimate the first point at 5 points, and the second, for example, in 2, and it will mean that the material aspect is more significant for you, than territorial.

4. Find the score which was received by positive and negative consequences of each decision. If score for negative consequences is more, than for positive, this decision probably does not suit you: you will lose more, than will get if you choose this way.

5. If each of options has more "pluses", than "minuses", choose that way of actions which gained the greatest number of points.

6. It is possible to go also in more difficult way. For each decision in general seeming to you acceptable write answers to 4 questions: "What happens if I make it?", "What does not happen if I make it?", "What will occur if I do not make it?" and "What will not occur if I do not make it?".

7. After that also estimate each of the turned-out points on importance degree for you. Answers on each point will be both affirmative for you, and negative. Subtract from the sum received for affirmative answers, the sum received for negative.

8. Estimate, the answer to what question in each case gained the greatest number of points. Compare the sum of the points gained on each of four points. Point which received the greatest number of points will also be responsible for you decisive on a question: Whether "It is worth choosing this way?". You will understand whether it is favorable to you to realize this decision and how positive will be as a result of change in your life.

9. And, at last, the easiest way to choose the best decision for those who are not inclined to long logical calculations and calculations. Listen to a voice of the intuition – often it is very quite good adviser. Think of the way of a solution chosen by you, try to trace a response which gets the way chosen by you, in the form of feelings in own body.

10. If you felt internal rejection as if something pushes away you from this decision, perhaps, it is worth undertaking something else: you subconsciously resist this way.

11. If, on the contrary, you had feeling of "attraction" - it is your way, and it is worth trying to work thus.
