Cleaning of a nose does not demand certain skills from the baby, but all manipulations should be carried out accurately and attentively. It is important that movements were sure also accurate. The purpose of the procedure is removal of dry crusts and the accumulated slime.

- - piece sterile cotton wool (or cotton balls)
- - oil or physiological solution
- - salt solution
Instruction
1. Prepare everything for the procedure. You need a piece sterile cotton wool (or cotton balls), oil or physiological solution. It is better to take oil cleaned vaseline, without fragrances. Do not try to clean a nose to the child Q-tips, it is dangerous.
2. Twist cotton turunda. Clean hands twist small thin plaits from cotton wool. Average length of one turunda – the 6-7th, thickness – 5 mm. On one cleaning there is enough 5-6 plaits.
3. Soften nasal cavities. To soften crusts and the dried slime, dig to the child on a drop of hydrochloric solution in a nose (it is possible to use ready solutions of sea water). In 10 minutes you can start cleaning of a nose.
4. Dip a turunda in oil or solution. Accurately dip turunda in the prepared oil or hydrochloric solution. Slightly wring out a plait before application to get rid of surplus of solution.
5. Serially twist turunda in nostrils. Hold the head of the kid with one hand, and quickly you carry out by the second all necessary manipulations. Insert a turunda into one nostril, smoothly twist it inside on depth about couple centimeters and pull out. Make two-three turns of a zhgutik in a nostril – it will be enough for cleaning of a nasal cavity. Clean also the second nostril. Continue to change turunda until they do not leave clean.
6. Help the child to clean a nose in the natural way. The child can clean a nose in a different way. Tickle to the child of a nostril to cause sneezing – make it a plumelet or a piece of cotton wool. During sneezing the pieces of slime will take off.
7. Clean the child's nose from pollution. In the course of the procedure on a child's face there can be pieces of slime and other traces of manipulations. Moisten a cotton pad with boiled water and wipe area of a nose, removing all pollution which remained after cleaning.
