Instruction
1. Prepare yarn for a beret. If you use acrylic, to it the hook will be suitable for knitting of size 2.5-3. If thread is more dense – pick up size 3.5-4 hook.
2. Begin to knit a beret from the top. Collect thread in a small ringlet and tie with its 6-8 columns without nakid. Later pull together a ring, having pulled for the opposite end of thread.
3. Further knit in such order: The 2nd row – in each loop of the first row to knit on 2 columns; The 3rd row – in every second column of the second row knit on two columns; The 4th row – in every third column of the 3rd row knit on two columns; The 5th row – in every fourth column of the fourth row knit on two columns.
4. In the subsequent ranks add less often, in every fifth, further - in every sixth column of a row. Control that the circle was not narrowed, however and did not extend too sharply, forming waves.
5. It is possible to knit in two ways – on a spiral and beginning each row anew. The knitting method on a spiral is much simpler.
6. Knit a circle until it does not become in the diameter about 25 centimeters. After that connect still 3-5antimetr without addition of columns, evenly.
7. In the following ranks gradually and evenly reduce quantity of columns in a row, thereby narrowing a product. Diminish every fifth column, repeating it during three and more rows in a row that as a result an extreme number of a beret corresponded to the volume of the head of the child. Edges of a beret it is possible to tie with several rows of columns without nakid, or decorative petals.
8. If you decided to connect a children's beret by a hook for fall or spring, sew to it a lining. For this purpose from not really dense fabric (it is possible knitted) sew a lining in the form of a usual hat, and then sew it in a ready beret. For colder season take fleece fabric better.
