How to develop the competent speech

The ability is competent to talk, correctly and logically to formulate offers – an important indicator of the general development of the child. With this ability are not born, it completely acquired. 1. First of all, skills of speech culture depend on how adults talk around: parents, relatives, tutors in kindergarten. Children at younger age are very susceptible and copy, generally only phonetics. Therefore with the kid it is better not to lisp, and to talk normally, accurately and clearly uttering letters, competently putting an accent.

2. Do not allow the child to reduce and distort words, quietly you ask to say them correctly again, referring to the misunderstanding. Do it taking into account age and physical features of the child, trying not to offend him, and you praise for each correctly pronounced difficult word.

3. When the child grows up, begin to pay attention to how he builds phrases. You teach him shortly and to intelligibly explain that he wants. Sort with him each incorrectly formulated phrase, correct its every time when he speaks incorrectly or muffledly states the thoughts.

4. You teach him from short offers to put long pieces of the narration, logically connected among themselves. Develop his attentiveness and memory that he learned to remember what he wanted to tell before began to tell something, traced the thought in a conversation.

5. Read with it books and you ask it to retell pieces from them by the own words, but it is close to the text. Pay its attention to what language heroes of literary works as manners to talk talk characterizes any given character.

6. You can set for development of the competent speech in the child to it exercises which will help it with it. For example, ask it to make phrases with the set words, and then complicate a task – let him use these phrases and will make with them the coherent story. Complicate a task and try, using the same phrases, to make several texts in different genres – the fairy tale or the story.
