The child who is brought up in love grows up the self-sufficient, self-assured and happy person. And the love of parents has to be unconditional, i.e. not depending on its progress or failures, obedience or obstinacy.
How to show unconditional love
Pay to the child as much as possible attention. Hundreds of toys mean to the kid less, than time spent with the loving parents. Play, walk, tell the child various stories, you share children's memories with him, every minute near the kid is your contribution to his future happiness.
Listen to the child. Do not wave away if he throws out on you the kindergarten news - it is his life, show that it is important for you. Listen to opinion of the child - if you do not do it until he small, having become the adult, he wants to share with you.
Believe in the child and never compare him to other children. Support and approval even of the smallest achievements are important for the little person. Believe in him, and victories of your child will constantly grow. Support tactile contact with the child – iron it, kiss, embrace. You say to the kid more than warm and tender words. If you express discontent – be indignant with actions, but not the child. Also you remember the rule: three words of love have to fall on one word of criticism. Teach the child to distinguish and show feelings. He has to also to be able to be happy, empathize, be sorry and to successfully read out emotions of other people. Explain to the kid that to hide feelings harmfully.
Family traditions – a symbol of heat and love
Family traditions have very great influence on the child. Practically always the person builds the relations as it was done in his family. For this reason traditions not only show your love for the child, but also descend it to grandchildren and great-grandsons. Among favourite traditions there can be a family evening outdoors. Get a habit to go during week-end to cinema, to the park, to cafe, etc. Or once a week surely gather at festively laid table with the hot pies baked by the loving hostess. Children can forget a lot of things over time, but the taste and a smell of mother's pies for them will be associated with the loving parental house all life. One more remarkable tradition – home tournaments on checkers, chess, a lotto, dominoes, etc. These games are pleasant to both adults, and children, and, besides, such pastime disposes to warm companionship. Symbols of family heat and love are also some holidays, but especially - New year and Christmas. These days everything needs to be done together: to decorate a Christmas tree, to prepare gifts, to make wishes under peal of bells, to have fun and walk. Think and you will be able to introduce in your life and other family traditions which will teach your love children and tendernesses to relatives. And you will be rewarded by trust, frankness and attachment of your children for many years.
