It is possible to train the child in swimming on achievement of four-five-year age by it. For this purpose it is necessary to choose a suitable natural reservoir or the pool and also the experienced mentor who will help the kid with development of this sport.

Instruction

1. Take the child by hand and come with him together on depth on a belt (for the kid). Execute exercise "Sea battle". Get up the person to each other and, getting water palms, splash it at each other. That player who will force another to recede wins. This game accustoms the child not to be afraid of water ingress in the face.

2. Play "Distillations". At distance of 3-4 meters from the coast put floating toys in water. Get up with the child facing water ashore and on a signal run to toys, take on one and return to the coast. The one who collected more toys wins. Exercise purpose: to teach the child to the correct movement in water, to help itself hands (doing grebk around a body).

3. You pass to immersion into water with the head. Play "Pump". Depth of water has to be at the level of a breast of the young swimmer. Suggest the kid to make a breath, to ship the person in water, then to make an exhalation. Eyes can be closed. After the small training take the child by hands and become the face to each other. Then, alternately squatting, plunge into water, holding the breath. Do a full exhalation in water.

4. Teach the child to dive into water with open eyes. Play the game "Courageous Children". Get up the person to each other and join hands. After that on command together with the child plunge into water with open eyes. For control it is possible to suggest to count how many fingers on a hand, to see any subject in water and to get it (for example, the toy put by you).

5. Execute emerging exercise "Float" or "Jellyfish". It is carried out without the aid of the adult. Water depth – at the level of the child's breast. Give the command to make a breath, to sit down on hunkers, to clasp knees with hands, and to press a chin to a breast, to hold the breath for 10-12 seconds. At the expense of the pushing-out force (the air which is in lungs) the child begins to emerge a back on a water surface as a float. Do exercise "Float" several times, then complicate it. After emersion ask the child to extend legs and hands and, having relaxed, several seconds to lie down on water. The head is in water, the person is lowered down.

6. Do exercise "Arrow". Let the child will come into water up to a breast, will make a deep breath, will hold the breath and, having extended hands forward, will make a start from a bottom legs. At the correct performance of this exercise, at the child it has to turn out to proskolzit on a breast on water several meters.

7. Choose the small place at the coast. Legs of the child are extended, shoulders are in water, the head - over water. Feet and legs have to be straight lines. Having adopted such provision, the kid has to begin to work legs up-down. Further, without stopping work as legs, it is necessary to execute breathing exercises – a deep breath and an exhalation in water.

8. Repeat exercise "Arrow" with pushing away by the child's leg bent in a knee joint from the adult's knees. Legs of the child have to move up – down. In the course of sliding on water the head has to be shipped facedown and rise only for a breath. Then the head is again hung - the exhalation in water becomes.

9. Execute the following exercise: the child costs in water up to a breast, bends forward so that his chin and shoulders appeared in water, and begins to make grebka hands from top to down. Help the child to execute correctly the sequence of elements of exercise, try to obtain synchronization of movements: fungus right hand, then turn of the head and breath; the fungus the left hand, then turn of the head facedown also exhaled in water. Repeat exercise of 10-12 times.

10. Send the child to "independent swimming". He has to make a deep breath and lay down a stomach down on water, extend legs and straighten hands behind the head. The child has to begin to work legs and to carry out the rowing serial movements by hands, making a breath and an exhalation. Slowly you depart back, helping it to float.
