Preparation of a portfolio trains in skills of the self-presentation, ability to collect and appreciate fruits of the work, contributes to the development of cognitive activity, creates success situation, forms confidence in the child.

Instruction
1. Choose type of the created portfolio. They are two: a free portfolio of the pupil of elementary/middle school and a portfolio-9, for pupils of high school. The first is a portfolio of creative works of the child. The second can be issued as a portfolio of documents, works and responses. Strict state standards of registration of a portfolio do not exist.
2. Issue or download preparations for a portfolio. The structure of a portfolio of the pupil of initial classes is simple and consists of sections: the title page, the world of the child, study, public work, creativity, impressions, achievements, responses and wishes, works of which the child is proud, the contents. The portfolio-9 includes: title page, official documents, creative works and social practice, responses and recommendations, general information, summary final sheet.
3. Fill out the title page with the main information on the child: name, surname, age, class, school, photo. At seniors include also here the period for which documents/materials, and contact information – phone, the e-mail address are submitted.
4. Fill out sections of a portfolio. Include any information which is interesting to the child in the section "My World": about the city, school, hobbies, friends, favourite objects. Fill out the section "My Study" with successful examinations, schedules of development (progress), creative works on a subject. Fill out the section "My Public Work" with photos from performances, performances, instructions, supplemented with short messages. Fill out the section "My Creativity" with any creative works, it is desirable the most interesting, outstanding, photos of hand-made articles. Specify in what competitions and exhibitions works with what mass media it was lit participated. Fill out the section "My Impressions" with the short creative tasks written after various excursions, exhibitions, other informative programs. At the beginning fill out the section "My Achievements" with any diplomas, certificates, diplomas. The section "Responses and Wishes" is filled in by teachers. Here teachers state the recommendations, wishes. The section "Works of Which I Am Proud" contains in itself the most significant valuable works and documents.
5. In a portfolio of the senior, in the section "Official Documents", place all certified individual achievements (certificate, certificates, certificates, certificates of the Olympic Games, competitions, competitions) or their copies. Fill out the section "Creative Works and Social Practice" with information on elective courses (number of hours, result), add creative projects, descriptions of any significant social and creative activity.
