Crossword puzzles for the child are cheerful lessons. On the one hand, their solving – simply cheerful pastime. On the other hand, they develop memory and thinking, teach children to argue, analyze, compare. At the same time crossword puzzles are universal in application – it is possible to occupy with them the child on the way, to make a part of the developing tasks, to include in the game program during the holiday.
Instruction
1. Before making children's crossword puzzles, it is necessary to decide on a subject. For example, if the crossword puzzle is conceived as an occupation element, let the passable material will be reflected in it.
2. The next stage of drawing up a crossword puzzle – selection of tasks. In one crossword puzzle there have to be difficulties of a task, different in level. If questions are too simple and too difficult, the child will quickly lose interest in a game. Therefore 1-2 tasks have to be difficult, 1-2 simple, over the others the child will need to reflect. It is desirable aloud. If the child is at a loss with the answer, it is not necessary to tell him the answer. It is better if adults argue together with children, will lead.
3. After the subject and tasks are chosen, it is possible to decide on a form in which questions will sound. It can be the rhymed couplets (they can be made by means of the return dictionary), for example: "Are grazed near the small river / Curly …" or "When smartly runs away / the Tail for memory leaves", etc.
4. Comparisons can be one of options of a form of tasks. The crossword puzzle can be made of questions: "They say, stubborn as …", "They say, works as …", etc.
5. Each task of a children's crossword puzzle can be in the form of a riddle.
6. Tasks can sound and just in the form of simple questions and offers.
7. Having composed the text of tasks, it is possible to pass to the final stage of work on drawing up a crossword puzzle. To facilitate work, all turned-out words can be written out on a separate leaflet.
8. It is possible to arrange words in a children's crossword puzzle in the form of any "pattern", however children very much like surprises. To make a children's crossword puzzle with a surprise, it is necessary to arrange words in a column so that in one of vertical lines one more word turned out.
9. At the final stage of work it is necessary to redraw empty sections on a blank sheet and to number tasks.
