1. Choose the suitable place. It is necessary to consider that it has to be safe. The hill should not begin and come to an end near the carriageway and places of the parking of cars. It is desirable that the hill was lit with lamps after sunset. The it is necessary to make less natural bias, the more efforts on construction of the hill. 2. Clear away walking paths, collecting snow in that place where you plan to make the hill. By means of shovels create a slope. If snow sticky, it is possible to roll spheres of the different size (as though you are going to mold a snowman) and to place them on a slope. Fill space between spheres with snow. Dry snow can be mixed in a bucket with water and to shift to a slope.
3. The metal pallet "cut off" unnecessary fragments. You watch that the hill had no corners, otherwise children can hit against ice. If the hill intends for very small children, it is possible to make sides to exclude "departure" from the route.
4. On the top of the hill make the flat platform. For safety it is possible to put several sheets of plywood or cardboard.
5. One of the most labor-consuming stages – formation of the ice route. Pour warm water into a spray and sprinkle all descent, the pallet and a shovel removing roughnesses. After that let's a surface freeze within at least half an hour (depends on air temperature).
6. By means of a garden watering can pour over the hill water. If water temperature too high, then ice thaws, and work will be vain. Too cold water will not give effect. When you water, you watch that it flew down evenly, differently furrows and roughnesses are formed.
7. Leave the hill to freeze till the morning.
8. If there is a place near the hill, make steps that it was more convenient to rise. If desired on steps it is possible to put plates. So legs will not slide.
