- 1) The hydrogen peroxide bought in pharmacy (3% solution).
- 2) Brilliant green (scientifically, solution of diamond green alcohol).
- 3) Q-tips.
- 4) Gauze sterile napkin or sterile cotton tampon.
Instruction
1. It is necessary to remove with the Q-tip moistened in solution of hydrogen peroxide very accurately the crusts formed around an umbilical wound. Other Q-tip which is also moistened in hydrogen peroxide solution it is necessary to clean carefully all folds and deepenings of a navel of the kid.
2. Before greasing a navel with brilliant green solution, the wound should be dried a sterile gauze napkin or a cotton tampon.
3. Now the umbilical wound is ready to processing by brilliant green. This procedure does not represent anything difficult. The Q-tip should be moistened in solution of brilliant green and to accurately grease with it a navel of the baby: all its folds and remote sites. Brilliant green well dries, and, above all, disinfects an umbilical wound of the kid.
