For example, the smallest to children are necessary of the fairy tale with constantly repeating subject courses and a small lexicon ("Kolobok", "Turnip", "Riaba the Hen", etc.), to children is more senior (3-6 years) stories are necessary more difficult (poetic fairy tales by Chukovsky, the fable Mikhalkov, the fairy tale by Suteev), from 6 years it is possible to address more volume works ("Buratino's Adventures" of A. Tolstoy, the fairy tale T. Jansson and A. Lindgren). However, each child is individual therefore, first of all, make a start from the level of its development.

2. Take the fairy tale with bright illustrations and read it together with the child. Reading has to be active. Put the kid on knees or nearby, show him all heroes on illustrations, ask questions ("As you think what was made by Kolobok?").

3. Ask the child what he understood after reading of the fairy tale? What learned? Kind of it behaved on the place of the hero? What it seemed to it good and that bad? What was most of all remembered? Sometimes it is worth correcting the child's position. For example, the kid feels sorry for a wolf from "Little Red Riding Hood". Focus attention of the child that the wolf does bad things in the fairy tale, he also is punished for it.

4. Play with the child the fairy tale. Give vent to the imagination and imagination of the child. You can improvise, enter new heroes, but the meaning of the fairy tale has to remain invariable.
