Passed first "aga" and the first independent steps. Now mom waits when her kid begins to talk to her. Usually, in two years children already utter separate words or even simple sentences. If it still did not occur, do not hurry to panic also the child's messages to the doctor, try to use several rules, perhaps, they will help the kid to start talking.
Stages of a speech development in the child
There are certain standards of speech skills of the kid:
- 3 months – the first attempts to reproduce sounds, "festivities"; - 4-7 months – distinct sound combinations, such, as to "ag", "aga", "гы", etc.;
- 7-9 months – unconscious sound combinations like "mom", "dad"; - 10 months – 1.5 years – intelligent sounds and simple offers: "mom to Cook", "dad to Cook", etc.
Since 1.5 the child has to begin to speak, at the same time putting all words in the correct cases and using them in the necessary order.
Pediatricians advise to begin to talk to the kid still when he is in a womb. They believe that thanks to it, the child will quicker learn to speak.
At first children describe the objects surrounding them. They remember nouns, then pronouns quicker, and after it adjectives which characterize a form, color and the size of objects. By two years the kid already has to be able to tell about the feelings (cold, hot, it is cheerful, sick).
How to teach the child to talk
If your kid is about two years old, and he everything does not want to talk, try to help him with it. For a start, reduce or even exclude use of a mimicry. Kids read out information on the world around from mother's face therefore if you avoid a mimicry, the child will pay attention to importance of the speech. Call all objects which are seen by the kid to him accurately and, the most important, is correct. If your child tries to tell something and distorts words, it is bad them uttering, do not repeat after him at all. Correct him and call things as they are. During the game it will be much easier for kid to master the speech. Recently there was enough the training games. Begin with a game where you will compare together words with real (but not abstract) objects. You tell simple phrases, for example: this is a cat, he speaks "meow", this is a chicken, she speaks "to-to-to", etc. Also for the aid to you books with bright will come, and it is even better with volume pictures. Show to the child of the picture and describe them. Call to him all objects which are drawn there. When the kid learns a word, add other words which characterize this subject to its lexicon.
Read to the baby fairy tales. They not only will help the kid to start talking rather, but also will develop his imagination.
Use massage to develop speech zones. For this purpose perform the following operations, having asked the kid to repeat after you: - stroke the backs of palms, speaking at the same time: "let's stroke a pussycat"; - pound a palm, sentencing: "it became cold, let's be heated"; - stir up hands and tell: "so the birdie flies". You can think out any exercises. Use various designers, cubes, puzzles, they develop fine motor skills which are responsible for speech skills. And the most important, communicate with the child more, play together with it, and he surely will begin to talk.
