It is possible to teach the child to fast reading in house conditions. The main thing to stock up with patience and to begin classes positively, helping the child to be liberated as much as possible. It is impossible to adjust and abuse the kid at all, it you can fight off him desire to read for a long time.
It is required to you
- - children's book;
- - collection of tongue twisters;
- - bookmark;
- - cards with words;
- - pencil;
- - table Shulte.
Instruction
1. During reading, ask the child to close a bookmark already read word. This simple method will allow to increase the rates of reading and to exclude repetitions.
2. Write a simple word on two cards, and the child has to put it. On one occupation prepare 8-10 words. This exercise can be done for a while.
3. Take the simple text consisting of several paragraphs. Ask the child to read the first paragraph silently, at a speed, greatest possible for it. The following paragraph should be read aloud, then again silently.
4. Prepare the easy text, give it to the child and note time. In a minute stop reading and count the read words. Repeat this exercise two more times. With every subsequent time, the read words will be more.
5. Teach the child to read tongue twisters, they help to put breath and do the speech of more accurate. Ask the kid to read you tongue twisters. Let reads at first slowly and in a low voice, and then it is loud and sure. You watch that the child accurately pronounced the terminations of words.
6. Involve the kid in reading process. Begin to read the fairy tale, stop on the fascinating moment and give reading to it. After reading the child has to retell read briefly. If unknown words occurred in the text, explain it their value.
7. Use the table Shulte at lessons, it will help to develop peripheral sight and will increase reading speed. To make the table will not make special work, draw a square of 20-25 cm in size on the sheet of paper, divide it into 30 cells and enter in them randomly number from 1 to 30. The child has to give number and point to it by a pencil. Before beginning exercise it should record a look in the center of the table to see it completely.
