The throat stenosis at children most often is a consequence of laryngotracheitis, tonsillitis, diphtheria, allergy, arises at hit of a foreign matter in airways. 1. At the first symptoms of a disease, such as high temperature of a body, the barking cough, change of a voice, pallor of integuments address the pediatrician. Do not refuse treatment of a stenosis at children in the conditions of a hospital. Besides the appointed treatment provide the child with plentiful warm drink, easily acquired food. Exclude all allergens from a diet.
2. Observe the voice guarding mode. Do not allow the child to talk, to shout especially. Calm the kid, do not assume that he cried. When crying the need for oxygen increases.
3. The sharp stenosis most often arises at night, suddenly. If you heard that your child began to worry in a dream, its breath became noisy, especially on a breath, immediately call the ambulance. To treat a stenosis at children in house conditions it is life-threatening therefore prepare for hospitalization.
4. Press the child to yourself vertically or put on a bed. Before arrival of the paramedic warm hands and legs of the kid in hot water. Observe tranquility and do not allow the child to worry. If the kid has a high temperature, give him febrifugal in the dosage corresponding to age.
5. Fill the bathroom with steam, having opened the crane with hot water. You come with the child into the bathroom every 10-15 minutes and do steam inhalations within 10 minutes. After each calling change clothes of the kid for dry clothes.
6. Will treat a stenosis at children in the conditions of a hospital with use of antiedematous, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antihistaminic medicines. Perhaps, in the first days at a stenosis of a throat the treatment in intensive care unit will be required. In especially hard cases the emergency tracheotomy is inevitable.
7. Except a sharp stenosis at diphtheria and asthma the chronic stenosis gradually develops. In this case the child will need surgical treatment. Be attentive to health of the native person and in due time ask for medical care.
