At newborns the allergy often affects digestive tract, at the same time it is followed by nonspecific symptoms. Various factors can be the causes of an allergy: hereditary, vaccination, non-compliance with a hypoallergenic diet by mother during feeding by a breast.

1. Treatment of food allergy should be begun with a diet, an exception of possible food allergen of a diet. But it is not necessary ""to struggle"" with an allergy independently; otherwise it can be aggravated on the contrary, in each separate case the pediatrician or the allergist has to define medical tactics.
2. If the kid is only on natural feeding, then at first all potential allergens and also products of industrial production which incorporate preservatives, artificial dyes, crystal sugar and emulsifiers of fats (on the label these substances and are designated — emulsifiers, dyes) are excluded from a diet of the feeding mom for two weeks. Sugar, salt, strong broths and fried dishes are excluded completely. Limit also the number of consumption of dairy products. For the child having food allergy it is very important to keep breastfeeding.
3. If the newborn is on the mixed or artificial feeding, then most likely the allergy was caused by protein of cow's milk which is in children's mix; therefore it is necessary to replace partially or completely dairy mix, specialized hypoallergenic mix (they are appointed by the doctor), which will consist on the basis of soy protein or special mix in which protein is split to a minimum - the level of separate amino acids (the hydrolyzed mix) — in this case development of an allergy will be impossible. But even at such food there are shortcomings: at the child the intolerance of soy protein can be shown, and the special hydrolyzed mixes have quite not palatable taste and besides cost much.
4. It is possible to cure an allergy at the newborn by means of national ways. Take a dried grass of a train - two tablespoons and fill in it with boiled water. By this warm infusion do lotions on a rash. The train is antiseptic, in several days the allergy will begin to pass. The course of treatment makes before total disappearance of a rash.
