2. The following step is carrying out monitoring. With its help you define what players are the most authoritative in the market at present. Pay attention to how your competitors advertize the goods (through television, media and social networks). Surely specify the cost and the product range of the competitors.

3. Further compare own projects with projects of competitors. The received results can be issued in the form of the table. By means of this analysis you define strong and weaknesses and also will understand what position is taken in the market by your firm.

4. After the analysis is made, reveal the advantages before competitors and constantly strengthen them. If you in something lag behind the rivals on the market, make every effort "to tighten" weaknesses of your project or find other niche for business strengthening.

5. Never leave alone competitors. If the firm competing with you released a series of new products which are absent in your line today, try to fill this gap as soon as possible.

6. You will be able to achieve the maximum results only if offer the clients not just an analog of products of rival firm, and something absolutely new what your rivals did not guess yet.

7. Do not offend the competitors at communication with potential clients or members of the media at all. It will say about your incompetence and also will create negative image of your company. Do not forget about rules of business etiquette and in case you have to communicate personally with representatives of competitor company.

8. Agree with competitors about rules of conducting a game in the market. Remember that business – a thing very serious therefore and to your rivals it is better for you to designate in advance that bound for which you will not overstep, seeking to surpass each other.

9. Always you keep an eye on the competitors. Try to carry out market monitoring at least once a month.
