Communication with the world around - some kind of communication in each individual personality, certainly proceeding in own way. But effective interaction is possible only if this personality has the subjective opinion, vision of a picture of the world.
What is mental reflection?
Process of formation of certain conditions in which occurs or will happen, activity of the individual is mental reflection. A result of similar reflection of mentality is absolutely value judgment of external or internal data on the world in general representing some model of surrounding reality.
Such subjective approach allows to conduct activity and to satisfy the personal inquiries. It should be noted that mental reflection – it is obligatory the process related to the subject directly. However ideas of processes of mentality through a prism of thinking, perception or imagination is only mentality model, in reality it is more complete.
The role of mental reflection consists in creation of the uniform, more structured image from variegated objects of surrounding reality.
Levels of mental reflection
Touch and perceptual. The individual, or the subject, relying on that information which he obtains, owing to stimulation of sense organs real objects, builds the line of conduct, that is reacts to events as according to him it has to arrive in this situation. Level of representations. Images can arise without direct participation of other objects on sense organs of the individual. In other words, there is an imagination, infinite process of figurative thinking. An essence of such function in planning, self-checking and correction of actions. Verbal and logical thinking. At this level the happening brain operations are even less connected with events of the current time regardless of their relevance. The subject uses only logical concepts and receptions created in the course of cultural historical development of the person. He builds personal experience on the basis of those values that developed proceeding from his mentality. So, the concept of partiality of the subject participates in determination of subjectivity. Psychologists were always interested in dependence of perception, thinking of the subject on his requirements, internal installations. Thus, it is possible to draw a conclusion that the concept of mentality includes not only reflection of objects of reality, but also a concept of consciousness.
