Identification of pregnancy on early terms is a necessary condition for production of the woman on account in clinic for women. The main method of early diagnostics of pregnancy is the research of biological material on HGCh.
Instruction
1. HGP (horionichesky gonadotrophin of the person) – the special hormone which is emitted with chorion (external germinal cover) after attachment of fetal egg to a uterus wall. The gonadotrophin circulates in blood of mother and is partially allocated with urine in not changed look. Definition of HGCh in biological material is based on it. The more pregnancy term, the concentration of hormone is higher. At non-pregnant women the maintenance of a gonadotrophin in blood makes from 0 to 5 honey/ml, in urine – is absent.
2. There are methods of definition of HGCh in urine in house conditions and in blood - in laboratory. It is possible to define pregnancy of the house by test strips, tablet and jet tests impregnated with the special reactant, at contact with a gonadotrophin causing emergence of an additional second strip. The more pregnancy term, the more brightly will be shown a strip. The reliability of results of these analyses is 80-90%. Pregnancy comes to light for 12-14 day after conception. It is more preferable to conduct a research since morning, after adoption of hygienic procedures, performing the operations specified in the instruction attached to any given test.
3. The most exact is laboratory determination of quantity of HGCh in blood. The reliability of results of this research fluctuates within 99-100%. Using the special laboratory equipment, make quantitative assessment of level of a gonadotrophin in blood, giving concrete figures. This method allows to reveal pregnancy for 10-14 day after conception. For obtaining the correct results it is necessary to be prepared for carrying out a research. On the eve of blood donation it is necessary to keep to the diet excluding greasy, fried food, alcoholic beverages from the use. In day of holding a procedure it is not recommended to eat food, to take drinks. It is admissible to drink a glass of water. A blood test is taken in the morning on an empty stomach in a procedural office of clinic for women or any other medical institution.
4. It is necessary to know that there are false positive and false-negative results of determination of quantity of HGCh in biological material both in house conditions, and in the conditions of laboratory. Considering that the level of a gonadotrophin begins to increase after the ovum is attached to a uterus wall, that is for 6-10 day after conception, it is necessary to conduct a research on hormone for 2-3 day of a delay. Otherwise at test the obtaining negative result at the available pregnancy is possible. Positive results on HGCh in the absence of conception can be a consequence of recently postponed abortion, intake of medicinal hormonal medicines. At suspicion on existence of pregnancy it is necessary to address for consultation the gynecologist who will write out the direction on determination of the HGCh level in blood, and, if necessary, will appoint additional inspections for more exact establishment of term of pregnancy.
