1. In the middle of the last century the homosexuality was considered as a disease and was subject to treatment. Only in 1973 it was withdrawn from classification of diseases of psychiatric character.
2. Before answering a question of a possibility of disposal of homosexuality, it should be taken into account the nature of its emergence. Posthumous researches which were conducted on a brain of homosexuals allow to draw a conclusion on existence of morphological differences in the structure of subcrustal kernels in comparison with men of traditional orientation. It allows to draw a conclusion that it is impossible to get rid of nonconventional orientation, also as it is impossible to get rid of color of eyes.
3. Researches of the Swedish scientists testify to the congenital nature of homosexuality. At gays the almond-shaped body of the left hemisphere contains more nervous communications, than the same site of right. Do not become homosexuals – are born them.
4. Hot discussions around homosexuality are developed also regarding genetic inheritance. Psychologists provide the statistical data indicating that most of gays was cultivated in full families in which parents were heterosexuals.
5. Observations of sexual orientation of monoovular twins are very interesting. If one of them is homosexual, the probability that the second will be a homosexual - 52%. At two-egg twins this rate is 22%. Identical genes increase the probability of identical sexual orientation.
6. What occurs in 48% of cases? One monoovular twin - the heterosexual, and the second – the homosexual. Absolutely identical genes do not give a guarantee that twins will have identical sexual inclinations. It emphasizes once again that a homosexuality phenomenon – the difficult phenomenon which is defined by genetic, hormonal and environmental influence, but is not a disease in any way and is not subject to treatment.
7. Despite this, dense ranks of psychologists continue to insist that correction and disposal of "illness" is possible. Work in this direction can be crowned with success only on condition of existence of desire of the patient.
8. For some men the inclination to the stronger sex is a compulsory measure. Quite often such relations meet in prisons, colonies, other closed institutions. At the moment when sexual energy reaches the maximum and escapes outside, the man needs as "to rely nothing on the friend's shoulder".
