Throughout a long time the women had to play the subordinated role in many countries. Significant fact: even in such advanced European state as Switzerland women acquired electoral rights several decades ago! Now the sexual equality is fixed in most the states legislatively. But many feminists claim that women all the same face a lot of restrictions. Whether so there is this equality, or not? And whether it is possible in general?

1. To define whether there is an equality, first of all it is necessary to understand: and what, actually, is understood as the term. Some women treat it too simply, rectilinearly. Say, the equality – it a possibility of admission of women is absolute to any work. And they give a hostile reception to any restrictions including dictated by care of health of the woman and her reproductive function.
2. Nevertheless, no laws on gender equality can cancel those differences between men and women who are caused by the nature. The average woman is weaker than the man and is less hardy - it is an indisputable fact. Women on the whole more emotional, impressionable. At last, owing to the natural causes caused by physiology, some women of childbearing age regularly till several days a month experience deterioration in health, the increased irritability, decrease in attention, concentration.

Therefore it is not necessary to be surprised to the fact that those professions which demand big physical force, of endurance, the maximum concentration, ability quickly and coolly to react to suddenly arisen extreme situation, for the present generally remain a men's prerogative. For example, women are tried not to be taken in special forces of armed forces and police, in the divisions of the Ministry of Emergency Situations which are engaged in fire fighting, rescue operations. And it is necessary to be loaders it hardly as women are future mothers, and the raising of weights is very harmful to a female body. Separate exceptions cannot disprove this general rule.
4. At last, the nature assigned a reproduction duty to the woman. Therefore that lady who wants to make successful career and at the same time to be good, careful mother, involuntarily gets up before a question: what to choose, than to offer. To combine successfully both it turns out not always, even by means of the husband and other close people.
5. You should not take the term "equality" too literally. Of course, there are many examples of how the woman reached heights in most that on is male professions or a hobby (mountaineering, parachuting, etc.). But it is better to remember after all that the nature not for nothing created men and women different. They should supplement harmoniously each other, but not to compete in fight for equality.
