Paradoxes of demographic statistics
According to conclusions of one of the most interesting and paradoxical results of the statistical researches in the field of demography conducted on the basis of the state population census follows that we have less married men, than married women. And the ratio of data gives rather big running start – more than 4%. Such conclusion causes dual reaction - from bewilderment to irony. Realities of modern life show that institution of marriage underwent significant changes, and except habitual official marriage the concept "civil marriage" which perception at the man and the woman absolutely different takes place. The question was one of key: "If you consist in a civil marriage whether she are married/is married you?". What is surprising, practically all female audience answered this question positively, and more than a half of male respondents answered negatively. From what it is possible to draw a conclusion that cohabitation with the man already allows the woman to designate their relationship as family while men their those do not consider and are ready to recognize the relations as family, only if they are registered officially and confirmed with a banal stamp in the passport.

It is probable for this reason the woman always at the instinctive level seeks to legalize relationship with the man while men do not hurry with the final decision, entering official marriage at more mature age, prolonging thus feeling of personal liberty. Obviously, this divergence in pragmatic outlook of men and sentimental perception of events by women is a solution of a paradox of inequality of the married men and women.
