The Russian cartoon serial "Masha and Bear" quite often causes a controversy among adults. While children with enthusiasm watch adventures of the restless girl and her clumsy friend, their parents try to understand whether these will do to history harm to kids.

Delights concerning "Masha and a bear" are identical at audience of all age. The funny and mobile inventor Masha reminds adults of own children, and the young audience dreams of the same freedom of life, as at the main character. And here opponents of a cartoon serial state different arguments. Among main – Masha sets an example of disrespectful behavior in relation to adults. If specially to pay attention to a plot of each series, it is possible to notice that the drawn girl not just offends the acts a bear. Masha defiantly ignores his requirement and desire and moreover – does not regret when hurts the four-footed friend. On the other hand, and the bear behaves not as the adequate adult. He forgives to the minx all offenses and does not punish her for offenses, only sometimes takes offense or hides. Though the bear plays an important role of the father in the world of the animated film, creators actually depreciate its contribution to education of the girl.
Contrary to traditions
One more reason for which a part of the viewers does not approve the animated film "Masha and Bear" is hidden in violation of traditional values by heroes. Female characters in fairy tales are important for many people ability to support, console, regret someone. Such behavior is characteristic not only of adult heroines, generally fantastic mothers or brides. Even in the national fairy tale about Masha and a bear the girl behaves as the hostess and feels sorry for a lonely animal. The female character is shown in the modern mulserial as destructive force. Masha all pets are afraid, all live and lifeless for her is only means of own entertainment. Quite often frightens parents that their offsprings will involuntarily copy the relation of the heroine to the world around. Children owing to features of perception automatically read out Masha's behavior as legal and desirable.
Neither love, nor pity
One more important point concerns psychology and emotional development of the main character. A part of mothers pushes away Masha's inability to feel something, except desire to have a good time. Creators do not show it feeling pity or caring for someone, at least gently ironing animals. Generally Masha is represented indifferent to people around. It concerns not only inhabitants of the wood, but even the significant character in the Toy Store – Father Frost. Having done much harm to his health, Masha first of all thinks only of taking away all gifts which remained in its bag. Forces to distribute elegant boxes to addressees her only transformation into the Snow Maiden with a long braid. All these and some other aspects of perception by the little audience of a cartoon serial can be used also in a positive key. For this purpose parents should not leaving kids alone with "Masha and a bear", and to discuss behavior of heroes and to place right accents.
