Many women face a problem of male infantilism. The husband is incapable neither to wash the dishes after eating, nor with dirty linen to put socks in a basket, sits, without coming off, behind computer games, and is jealous of the child more, than the senior children are jealous of parents of younger. It seems inexplicable, the adult should not behave so.
The reasons of male infantility root in education. By the nature the education conservatively and in many respects continues to follow traditions which were once necessary, but in the conditions of the modern world become vicious. One of such traditions – to enjoy the birth of the son - "successor" it is more, than to the daughter's birth. At such reverent attitude to the boy it is easy to break on education on the "idol of family" type, it just also leads to formation of the infantile man who will always require to himself special attention and will not want to share the wife even with the child.
Man and household chores
Other tradition – division of household chores on "men's" and "women's". It came from country life where it was justified: affairs were enough for all, work equally shared between the man and the woman. But the modern citizen does not go into the woods behind firewood and does not do many other that the peasant at the beginning of the 20th century did – in house life there were affairs which are traditionally considered as "women's". Remember men's duties only when it is necessary to repair a stool, to hang up a chandelier or to move a case, but it happens occasionally, and it is necessary to prepare and wash the dishes, to keep order in the house constantly. Traditionally since childhood accustom to such work girls, but not boys therefore adult men are not able to do household chores and do not want, habitually I assign them to wives. From here also the male helplessness in life results.
Computer games
Paradoxically, men's hobby for computer games is connected with rather ancient tradition too – to treat differently aggressive behavior at boys and girls. At girls the aggressive behavior certainly is condemned and suppressed. At boys it is condemned to a lesser extent, and even approved as line of "real man". A fight between girls – emergency, a boyish fight – norm. Many parents can even reproach the son if he did not beat the offender. But here the boy who is brought up in such spirit becomes a man, and at the adult the aggression in the modern world is not encouraged and is even punished by the law irrespective of a floor. The person should suppress constantly it in himself – perhaps, one of the reasons of lower life expectancy at men consists in it. In such conditions the computer games which in the majority are connected with military subject became a natural exit: they give the chance to show aggression in socially approved way. It is necessary to treat such manifestations of male infantilism philosophically – to redo in the person what goes from the childhood, it is impossible. The woman needs only not to repeat mistakes of the mother-in-law and in time to explain to the son that the real man is a serious, responsible person, but not the one who uses fists at the slightest pretext and does not touch a floorcloth.
