Advertizing elements in pages of websites are created with use of different technologies - the built-in JavaScript-, Java - or flash-scripts, the HTML-code, external scripts, etc. Part of them can be identified and blocked by the built-in means of the Opera browser, expansions for it or independent applications.
Instruction
1. The security features which are built in the browser from advertizing turn on the disabler of pop-up windows. Options of behavior Opera in attempt of the web page to open such window can be set via the panel of settings of the browser - open it the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + F12 or the choice of the General settings point in the section "Setup" of the application menu. This command causes settings of the browser with the active General tab in which average section, under the inscription "Specify how to Arrive with Pop-up Windows", the necessary drop-down list is placed. Select in it one of four options and press the OK button.
2. The simplified option of the choice of blocking of pop-up windows also is provided in Opera. Click "hot keys" Ctrl + F12 and in the emerged context menu select one of four top lines - they duplicate points from the falling list described in the previous step.
3. Settings of the browser allow to turn off processing of JavaScript- and Java scripts which are often used for an output in pages of advertizing elements. To pass to these settings, click the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + F12, select the Expanded tab in the opened panel and in the left column click the inscription "Contents". For shutdown of JavaScript-scripts remove a mark in the field which and is designated - "Include JavaScript". Processing of Java is switched off by removal of a mark in the field of "Include Plug-ins". To record changes, click OK.
4. For blocking of advertizing it is possible to use also the additional modules installed in the browser - plug-ins. If you decide to use this way, in the previous step do not remove the second tag (in the field of "Include Plug-ins"). The list of available plug-ins is posted on own website Opera - open the section "Expansions" in the menu of the browser and select the line "Select Expansions" to pass to the corresponding page. In the section "Tools" of the directory of plug-ins pick up the most suitable - for example, it can be AdBlocker, the link to which information page is given below. Loading and installation of expansion is carried out by clicking of the big green button "Add to Opera".
