The user name of Skype is displayed in a system at commission of calls. Your login is also displayed on the page of a profile in service. It is impossible to change the name of the account in Skype and to create the new login, you will need to register the new account. However by means of options you can change the displayed name.
Instruction
1. Without creation of the new account in Skype you can change the name presented on the screen which is visible to other users. It is displayed in contact lists of friends and displayed at commission of a call to other subscribers.
2. For change of a name enter the program, having started it by means of the corresponding label on the computer. Enter yours the login and the password for execution of an input. After program load click on your displayed name which is displayed in the central part of an application window.
3. Enter a new user name which you would like to use. After implementation of input for completion of operation press the keyboard Enter button.
4. If desired you can also rename in own way any contact in your list of friends. For this purpose click with the right mouse button on a position in the Contacts panel and select the option "Rename". Enter a new name for the user and click Enter. It should be noted that after change the name will be displayed thus only in your contact list and anywhere any more.
5. At registration of the new user with the purpose to replace the login you remember that the money enlisted on your initial balance by Skype cannot be translated, as well as the contact list from one account cannot be transferred to another. For commission of registration in a main window of Skype select the File tab - "Enter as the new user", and then click "Register" and follow instructions which appear on the screen in the course of registration. After completion of the procedure you will be able to use your new login and the password for login under a new name.
6. For change of a name you can also use your account of Microsoft. If you already have the Xbox account, Windows Phone or Hotmail, to you will be to enter enough data of your account on one of these servers in the Skype window and to enter. After an input as a user name you will display information on the account from Microsoft service.
