Working with e-mail, the user can face that not all data can be entered in a text field. Sometimes it is required to send to the addressee big text fragment, video, the presentation or the image. For such cases the possibility of attachment of files to the letter is provided in mail services.
Instruction
1. The principle of work in all mail systems is similar therefore small differences in the interface do not play an essential role. Fill all necessary fields and forms in the letter: enter an access subject, a destination address, the body text. Prepare the selected file for sending.
2. Remember that in mail services there is a restriction for the size of the attached files. When there is too much attachments and/or their size exceeds the allowed level, there can be problems with sending.
3. If you want to send several files, sometimes it makes sense to pack them in archive by means of the applications WinRAR, WinZIP or other archivers. Thus you will be able to facilitate to yourself a task: reduce the amount of departure due to compression of files in archive, and you should not attach each file separately.
4. Having made sure that with sending the file there will be no problems, press in a window with the letter the Attach Files button. The new dialog box will open. Pass in a directory where the necessary files are stored, select them with the left mouse button. Then press the Open button.
5. Loading process of attachments will begin. At the same time the pop-up window or any other indicator of loading can appear. Wait for full completion of operation then press the Send button in the letter.
6. If file size exceeds permissible value, it is possible to upload it on the third-party file hosting service, and to send to the addressee the link to downloading of this file. In some mail systems there is an opportunity to load files of the big size through own services operating by the principle of file hosting services. So, in the Yandex system the Yandex.Disk service is available. It is possible to work with it, without leaving a window of execution of the letter.
