The mail service Mail.Ru allows the user to install a confidential question and also the answer to it. Having forgotten the password, it is possible to report to the server this predefined answer then there will be an opportunity to change the password to new. If so it turned out that the answer to a confidential question became known to others, it should be changed immediately.
Instruction
1. Enter the mailbox on a serever of Mail.Ru via the normal web interface (not WAP or PDA, and not through an email client).
2. When the page with the Entering folder is loaded, scroll it down then follow the link "Setup" which is in the end of the page.
3. After loading of the page of settings follow the link under the name "Data for Password Recovery".
4. Select the password in the dropdown list or leave active item "-Select a question -". In the second case in the Or Specify the field enter a question manually. Formulate it so that on it it was impossible to guess the answer.
5. In the Answer to a Question field enter the answer. You do not enter the data known to someone else, except you there. In particular, you do not enter numbers of phone, machines, passports, birthdays, weddings, breeds and nicknames of pets, and to that similar data. The answer should be rather difficult, for example, if the question sounds as "What color the textbook according to the mathematical analysis", then "Red" or "Green" it is easy to pick up the answer, and "Pale red with thin green streaks" - it is much more difficult. But and it is more difficult to remember such answer.
6. It is better not to specify an email alias. It will allow to avoid cracking of the main box if crack additional.
7. In the Specify the Code Placed on the Picture field enter a kaptcha, and in the field "Current Password" - the password from a mailbox. Click "Save". After that the answer to a confidential question will change.
8. It is also possible to have a password recovery opportunity by means of the SMS. For this purpose visit the page of change of the answer to a confidential question once again then follow the link "Specify the Mobile Phone".
9. Leave a mailbox, having followed the link "Output" located in the page upper right corner. Then check, how well you remembered the password and the answer to a confidential question.
