VKontakte – one of the most popular social networks today, in particular among younger generation. Certainly, it is worth beginning "life" in social network with search of friends, schoolmates and fellow students.

- - account of VKontakte;
- - any available information on your friends (name, surname, age or year of birth, place of work or study, place of residence, etc.).
Instruction
1. Visit the page of VKontakte. Press the People button (it is to the right of a search string in a top panel of tools). In the opened search string gather a surname of the friend. If the surname is unknown, it is possible to gather also a name.
2. On the right enter all information authentically known to you on the friend into panels. Note a floor, marital status, select from the list the country and the city of residence of the friend, the place of work or educational institution, faculty, year of release, years of military service, military unit and so on. If any of points to you it is unknown, leave the field empty. Press the Search button to the right of a search string.
3. Look at search results. If among them there is no page of your friend, there is a sense to continue search. Its questionnaire can be completed not completely. For example, it is possible to exclude military unit, faculty, the place of work from search options. Some do not specify the age in the questionnaire. And here from educational institution the vast majority of users specifies year of release. Pay also attention to the With the Photo point. If there is a tick by default, in search results only accounts with photos will be displayed. It is better to remove this tick.
4. You can also leave a search line blank, at the same time select the school or higher education institution, a class or a course in the right menu. Then in search results you will see all the schoolmates or classmates who specified a class at registration.
5. Sometimes it is possible to find the "imperceptible" friend by means of mutual friends. Visit the page of the one who, perhaps, communicates with your friend of VKontakte and open the page with the list of his friends. In a search string on top begin to enter a surname or a name of the one whom you look for.
